Louise Cooney is preparing for her wedding day to her partner Mark Sweeney.
Mark popped the question in August during a trip to Spanish Point.
It looks like wedding prep is in full swing!
Louise headed to Belfast with her mother and friends, Dearbhla Toal, known online by Belle Azzure and Michelle McQuaid on the hunt for her dream wedding dress.
Of course, they had to “pause” Dry January as she shared a picture of the gang enjoying some bubbles for the day that was in it.
Louise headed to Verona Bridal writing: “First day trying on some dresses.”
She shared a picture of all three of them with champagne with the caption: “Dress shopping is fuuuun.”
It looks like things went well as she enthused about the “gorgeous shop and experience”, especially as it comes with a champagne bar!
“A dress shop with a champagne bar…safe to say Dry January has paused,” she joked.
Bell Azzure shared a video of the pair of them in the dress shop with the caption: “Exciting year ahead for our beautiful bride @louisecooney_ I can’t wait to be by your side.”
Louise previously spoke to VIP Magazine about her wedding plans, saying: “We’re starting to talk about it. We’ve started making lists and we’re actually viewing a place this weekend. We’re getting it started because we haven’t really settled on what we want. So we have to explore our options to see what is really us.”
As for her engagement she told us: “I had hoped and we had talked about it. I was excited for our next chapter but he did it so well. He just totally threw me off! He planned it in a way that was very us and he got Jude involved as well. It was just perfect.”
