Louis Walsh has been sought out by Al Porter to star in the comedian’s up coming Sky show.
The X Factor judge has agreed to try his hand at acting for his pal Al’s show.
The show features Al playing the role of a karaoke king who lives at home with his nana and just when he is down and out on his luck, he gets himself an agent and things start looking up. Once Al’s character career starts to take off Louis arrives on the scene.
Although Louis hasn’t dabbled in the world of acting before, funnyman Al thinks the two of them are the perfect pair to make it a great show!
He told the Irish Sun, “Louis and I are both so gossipy, we got on immediately. So when I came up with a plot about a frustrated karaoke singer trying to get a break, I thought of Louis immediately.
“Everybody makes a laugh out of him where he lives, so my character gets a lot of crank phone calls. But he never expects to get the real Louis Walsh on the line. Louis is a great actor. Sure hasn’t he been telling us that Jedward could sing for years?”
We can’t wait to see Louis make his acting debut -it’ll definitely be one to remember!
