Louis Walsh has shown his disinterest in Boyzone’s farewell tour, as he revealed he ‘couldn’t care less’ about the boy band’s last shows.
Louis, who is keeping busy with Westlife’s reunion tour – who are set to play two sold out gigs in Dublin’s Croke Park next summer – but apparently has no time to support Ronan, Keith, Mikey and Shane as they play their last ever shows.
“No, I wasn’t there [at Boyzone’s final Irish concert in the 3Arena last month], the former X Factor judge told Independent.ie.
Don’t care. I was in Miami in the sun. Couldn’t care less, honestly.”
Despite Boyzone and Westlife enjoying huge global success at the same times, Louis is not focusing on anything the boys are doing – and instead insists Westlife’s highly anticipated reunion tour is going to be ‘massive.’
“Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac are the best songwriting team on the planet right now.” Louis told The Irish Sun.
“The two lads have written four tracks on the new Westlife album, one of them is an uptempo anthem, I can’t give the name of yet, which is going to be massive.”
What do you think of Louis’s comments?
