Louis Walsh has finally responded after Liam Payne hit out at him on Friday morning.
The One Direction star slammed Louis for how he reacted when questioned about whether Cheryl Cole would ever return to The X Factor judging panel.
The talent judge said that Simon would not invite Cheryl back and told the journalist to “f**k off”.
“Well Simon wouldn’t invite Cheryl back because we have Nicole.” he said. “We have Nicole and Sharon, we don’t need another girl. So go and f**k off now… No silly questions, seriously. It’s not about Cheryl. Don’t be stupid, man.”
Liam took to Twitter to slam his former mentor for his harsh words.

However, when Louis was questioned about Liam’s rant, he responded saying he wishes him the best and has nothing bad to say about the singer.
“I think Cheryl and Liam starting a family will make her really happy.” Louis told The Daily Star. I honestly think she deserves to be happy. And I think this will make her happy over and above what her career does,
“Liam’s a nice guy. I have nothing bad to say about them.”
We’re glad to see Louis taking the high road, for once!
