Louis Walsh is set to perform an Irish gig on tonight’s X Factor in order to win over viewers from BBC’s rival show Strictly Come Dancing.
The Irish judge’s quirky dancing debut will take place at the beginning of the show, while the talent show overlaps with the hugely popular celebrity dance contest.
Earlier this month, Strictly had 2 million more viewers than the X Factor and this stunt by Louis aims to try and win back the ITV show’s viewers.
“It’s a great stunt for X Factor to have a go at copying Strictly.” a source told The Daily Star. “Louis has actually been offered the chance to go on Strictly in the past but has always turned them down.”
