Lottie Ryan has opened up about her goals to have her own radio show.
She has been working on 2FM for several years now, most notably giving entertainment updates across the station.
However, her dream is to front her own show on the station.
In 2024, Lottie was announced as the replacement for The 2 Johnnies, alongside David O’Reilly, after they announced their departure from the station.

However, their show was only temporary, and they were ultimately replaced by Doireann Garrihy.
“I’m very grateful for what I have, and I love what I do. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say all I’ve ever wanted is my own show,” she confessed.
Speaking to Goss, she said: “I love radio, I love the intimacy of communicating with people, and being let into people’s cars and wherever they are in life.”

She went on to say: “I think I’ve probably done nearly every show in the schedule at this stage, so I’ve been lucky in the sense that I feel like I have acquired particular skills. Because each time slot is a learning experience, the listeners are different, and the teams are very different.
“But I would love nothing more than to cement myself somewhere and have my own show. Of course I would.
“Hopefully one day, the right slot will open up and present itself. I’m a big believer that success is when preparation meets opportunity. The prep is really there, the opportunity just has to materialise.”
