Radio presenter Lottie Ryan shared the reason she’d been less active on social media this week, explaining it was due to a nasty stomach bug.
Taking to Instagram, she explained on her story, saying; “So, I’ve been completely M.I.A. on here all week, probably longer than a week at this stage, because I was struck down by the vomiting bug.”
Giving more detail, she continued; “let’s just say it was not pretty. It’s been an interesting week, and I’m just kind of coming out of it now. I’m still, if I’m being honest, a little bit rattled by the whole thing. It was horrific. But, it’s Saturday and I’m finally, you know, getting my bearings.”
“My god, health is wealth my friends, health is wealth.”
The TV personality also took the time to share some messages she was unable to deliver during the week, particularly thanking everyone involved in the Official Dancing With The Stars podcast, which she hosts. The podcast ended on Monday, after the show’s finale.
Sharing her appreciation for the fans who listened in, the Dubliner said; “another thing I never actually had the chance to come on to talk about last week, because my head was on the toilet, we finished up the Official Dancing With The Stars podcast. And I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everybody who subscribed, who tuned in, and listened every week. I loved every second.”
Also praising her co-hosts, Lyra and Brian Dowling Gourounlian, and the whole team involved. Lottie said, “I loved every second of recording this podcast with Brian and Lyra and the three of us just clicked from the first episode. Fingers crossed the three of us will work together again very soon.
“It was just such an amazing experience. And thank you to the fabulous Paul Moriarty who produced the podcast and RTÉ and Sin A Bhfuil and Dancing with the Stars and the pros and the celebs and everyone who took part.”
Lottie also shared a little update on her baby boy Wolf, explaining they were in the middle of watching his favorite film The Little Mermaid. Saying; “Yes, that is The Little Mermaid on in the background because it is Mr. Wolf’s favorite movie at the moment. I think he has a thing for Ariel.”
Earlier this month, Lottie spoke about baby Wolf sharing a name with Kylie Jenner’s son. Saying; “She obviously has very good taste, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was very relieved that I got there eight months before.”
Happy to have chosen the name before Kylie, as she was worried about being accused of copying, saying; “Because let’s be honest, if she had gotten there before me, I probably would have been putting up with people saying to me, ‘ah you copied Kylie Jenner.’”
However, Lottie has nothing to worry about as Kylie has changed her son’s name, but has yet to reveal what he is now called.
