This month, we took a trip down to Cork to meet the one and only Lisa Jordan.
The businesswoman moved into her dream home and tells us that she is putting her own stamp on it.
This new family home, which she shares with her husband and their three children, Pearl, Bowie and AJ, has been their dream for the last five years – and a work in progress for about 14 months.
“A labour of love is one way to put it. It’s coming together, finally,” she says, motioning towards the rooms downstairs. “We’ve renovated a lot, it’s been a big job, but this is our forever home and so we wanted to do it right.”

And they are certainly doing it right. They got their keys to the house just a handful of days before Christmas 2023 and since then they have been working tirelessly to make it their home.
“Everything had to change. I wanted to put my own stamp on it,” our March coverstar tells us.
“I’ve always had this interior urge but I never had an avenue to express it. I knew I was moving for the last five years. I was in the old house for ten years, and during the first five of those, it was relatively new. It was a different era and I was younger.”
She admits: “I bought that when I was 27 so interiors wasn’t my main focus at that time. I kept it very simple and classic, but it wasn’t a passion. I also wasn’t going to put money into something I knew I was going to be leaving. But I started building a folder in my phone of what I wanted the new house to look like and the vibe I was going for – I feel like I’ve managed to secure that.”

We have to agree as we take a nosey around. Look, we didn’t say we didn’t love a snoop!
Lisa admits that she did get a shock when she realised how long creating her dream home would take.
“It takes so much time, and that’s one thing I was so naive about initially. I went in thinking everything could be done yesterday!”
