Liam Payne has hit out at Louis Walsh, after his former mentor swore at a journalist who asked him about Cheryl Cole returning to the X Factor judging panel.
The X Factor judge was promoting the show’s big final this weekend when he was questioned about Cheryl returning to the show.
Louis responded saying that Simon would not invite Cheryl back and told the journalist to “f**k off”.
“Well Simon wouldn’t invite Cheryl back because we have Nicole.” he said. “We have Nicole and Sharon, we don’t need another girl. So go and f**k off now… No silly questions, seriously. It’s not about Cheryl. Don’t be stupid, man.”
Liam, who’s been in a relationship with Cheryl for just under a year, took to Twitter shortly after Louis made the comments to criticise him for how he handled the interview.
