We’re counting down the hours until we can change into our pyjamas, light the fire and curl up in front of the telly to watch this year’s Late Late Toy Show!
This year, the theme will be The Grinch with Patrick Kielty going all out for it tonight.
And we mean it because the show will be opened by a very special guest.
The opening of this year’s 2025 extravaganza will be narrated by none other than Liam Neeson, who recorded a voiceover especially for this year’s show.
While we won’t see Liam on the night, his dulcet tones will get us prepared for what we’re sure will be a night of chaos and good fun.
Speaking ahead of this year’s Toy Show, Patrick said: “It’s a very, very weird thing. Whenever you do the normal show, you come through the other side of the studio. But for The Toy Show, you have to come in past the big picture of Gay and he is looking down saying, ‘Don’t mess this up.’ The nerves are always there.
“I always love just getting up and running. As soon as we’re on air, you can’t control it. When you realise you can’t control it, I’m now at the Zen Buddha stage of Toy Show. Let’s hang on for the ride!”
