The Irish actor has been promoting his new film Blacklight and reminiscing on his time filming in Australia.
During an interview with Sunrise, Liam opened up about “falling in love” with a “taken” woman while he was down under.
“I loved Melbourne. I loved our Australian crew, they are fantastic workers.
“Every department was superb. They were their own people, do you know what I mean? They had a great sense of humour.
“I made a couple of pals… I fell in love once there, but she was taken,” he said.
Liam was married to actress Natasha Richardson from 1994 to 2009 until Natasha tragically passed away in a skiing accident and hasn’t had a public relationship since.
Liam and Natasha shared two children, Micheal Richardson and Daniel Neeson, Micheal changed his surname to Richardson from Neeson in honour of his late mother.
After Liam’s reveal in the interview the presenters were very intrigued by the women in question… Although Liam didn’t give any more information the hosts jokingly asked viewers if they knew the woman to “go to the Facebook page. Give us some hints!”
Although Liam is very busy promoting his new film, he’s already got plans for 2022 and they include Ireland!
The actor will be working on The Land of Saints and Sinners which is an action adventure movie that follows a retired assassin who gets himself tangled into a lethal game of cat and mouse with three terrorists.
Filming is expected to take place in March 2022 around Killybegs.
