Leigh Arnold gave birth to her baby girl Piper last month, and has what with it being National Breast Feeding Week, decided to share a snap of her breastfeeding her daughter.
The actress shared the image on her Instagram and laced with humour, wrote “New accessory for Autumn/Winter 2015.”
Speaking to Evoke.ie she said “I’m breast feeding so in the early weeks of baby cluster feeds, so I’m pretty much a slave to the boob and not really doing much else,” she said.
The actress has admitted though that it hasn’t been easy on her, sharing some of her more personal thoughts on social media: “Sweet Jesus above, I’ve had an infant on my breast since 5pm and it’s the only place she doesn’t scream! Heeeeeelp! Love, the shattered one x.”
Despite the tiredness, the actress is doing incredibly well, as she has a stream of on-going support from the people closest to her.
“Being here in Ireland I’ve loads of help and support from family and friends and Steve is incredible,” she told Evoke.ie
She continued, “My sister and mum are close by too and both have been brilliant. Mum comes in with a cottage pie and treats for Hunter, but I think it’s just an excuse for cuddle time with Piper.”
