Laura Whitmore reveals she “wasn’t ready to leave” Strictly Come Dancing

The tv presenter became the seventh person to be eliminated from the show last night.

Laura Whitmore has taken to social media to share her sentiments with fans after being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

The tv presenter and her partner Giovanni Pernice performed a Samba to Bamboleo by the Gipsy Kings on Saturday night’s show but during the dance they fell out of sync with each other.

However, despite their off-time dancing they still received rave reviews from the judges.

Unfortunately, the judges praises weren’t enough to secure them the public vote and Laura and Giovanni found themselves in the bottom two, and ended up loosing the Dance Off to Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton.

They made a mistake during their performance.

The 31-year-old took to social media last night to thank fans for their support and express her regret that she won’t be performing on the show again.

“Thank you all for such wonderful comments and support. Didn’t feel I was ready to leave, had so much more to show but learned so much from the journey! And the wonderful friends I now have for life @bbcstrictly.” she wrote.
