Today is international Women’s Day and what better way to spend the day than to support some amazing women in the music industry.
Laura Whitmore’s new podcast Hear Her Voice is launching today and will celebrate women in music. The six part series will feature influential women in the industry.
The first two episodes are available to listen to now on Global Player with the first episode including interviews with Lliana Bird and Self Esteem and the second featuring KT Tunstall & Daisy Buchanan. The remaining episodes will be available weekly.
Announcing the exciting project on Instagram this week the presenter wrote, “I’ve joined up with @hearhervoice to celebrate women in music. I’m hosting a very special 6 part series launching international Women’s Day March 8th.”
