Laura Whitmore has been confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing. The blonde beauty revealed the news this morning to Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio One’s Breakfast Show.
It had been speculated that the Bray native would feature on the 14th series of the dancing competition, but Laura herself announced her participation today, saying that she has been eager to compete since the show began.
“I have watched Strictly and been obsessed with the show since series one. It’s an incredible show and I feel so honoured to be asked to part of it.
“I’m not going to lie, I’m slightly petrified too,” she said.
Politician Ed Balls and singer Will Young have also been confirmed for the upcoming series, and will join the Bray native on the dance floor.
The series will return to our screens this September, we can’t wait!
