SPOILERS: The final episode of Kin
We were promised that the final episode of Kin would be chaotic.
And that was certainly the case!
After eight episodes of nail-biting drama, that saw the Kinsellas fighting with their father Bren and the Patuk family, we finally got all our answers.
We’re getting into spoilers now for the final episode of Kin season two, so turn back now!
Viewers had been calling for Bren Kinsella’s head on a spike since he returned on the scene at the beginning of the season. Especially after seeing a very uncomfortable scene with Bren and his granddaughter, Anna.
After her father Michael found out about his inappropriate behaviour, he was ready to risk everything to “clip” his father.
But Bren met his maker by the hands of a very unlikely source.
Yes, Bren was killed by his own brother Frank which was a twist viewers definitely didn’t see coming.
Inside the pub, Frank took out Bren with a gunshot in front of a shocked Jimmy, Michael and Viking.
Social media was instantly abuzz with delight as the villain was defeated.

KIN is one of the best shows on the tellybox, by far. Absolute belter of a show that so many are missing out on cos it's only on RTE in Ireland. Seek it out and enjoy.

Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long for an update on the Kinsella family.
The RTÉ drama has already been confirmed for a third season.
