This is not a drill people!
Jodie Comer is bringing her Olivier and Tony Award-winning performance in the one-person play Prima Facie to the Dublin stage early next year.
The production which will run as part of the legal drama’s tour, will take place at the Gaiety Theatre from 27-31 January 2026.
The story follows a barrister, Tessa, who specialises in defending men accused of sexual assault and whose view of the legal system changes after she is sexually assaulted herself.

Written by Suzie Miller and directed by Justin Martin, Prima Facie “takes us to the heart of where emotion and experience collide with the rules of the game”.
“Tessa is a thoroughbred. A young, brilliant barrister who loves to win. She has worked her way up from working-class origins to be at the top of her game; prosecuting; cross-examining, and lighting up the shadows of doubt in any case.”
However: “An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof, and morals diverge, ” reads the official synopsis.
Speaking on the upcoming tour, the Killing Eve star said: “It is a huge privilege to return to Prima Facie for one last time and take this important play on tour across the UK & Ireland.
“The resonance of Suzie Miller’s writing, both in London and New York, exceeded anything we could have imagined.”

“On a personal note, I can’t think of a better finale to what has been such an incredible and deeply rewarding chapter in my life.”
Tickets for Prima Facie will go on sale on Tuesday 25 March at 10am from Ticketmaster.
Jodie is widely recognised for her roles, including Rey’s mother in Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker, Villanelle in Killing Eve, and Kate Parks in Doctor Foster, among others.
With both an Olivier and a Tony Award for her performance in Prima Facie, as well as an Emmy for Killing Eve, it’s only a matter of time before this talented actress adds an Oscar to her achievements.
