If you’re a frequent sea swimmer, you’ll know exactly just how good it is. Now, it seems celebs are beginning to discover just how good Irish sea swimming is.
Jodie Comer, who’s best known for her role as Villanelle in the hit series ‘Killing Eve’, is currently spending some time in Ireland as she films for her upcoming movie The Last Duel.
While she’s here in Ireland, Jodie decided to visit Killiney Beach for a dip in the Irish sea. Along with a series of photos, Jodie shared a post-swim selfie on her Instagram, writing, “Thanks a mil Ireland. x”. Along with a ‘freezing’ emoji, there’s no wonder why.
While our own Nicola Coughlan commented on the post-swim pic saying, “If I’d known I woulda brought ya for pints!”
Jodie is staring in The Last Duel alongside Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Adam Driver. So, if you’re partial to some sea swimming, you may very well spot some A list stars taking a dip too.
We all know too well that Matt Damon himself enjoyed a bit of sea swimming while he stayed in Ireland during lockdown, so we can’t help but wonder if he’s recommending it to his co-stars. Keep your eyes peeled!
