Earlier today it was rumoured that a Westlife reunion may be happening in the near future, however Kian Egan has shut down the claims.
Former Westlife songwriter, Albert Hammond, was speaking to the Daily Star, and hinted at a possible return for the band.
He said, “[Louis] asked me for some songs because he says, ‘I’m going to bring back Westlife so can you wring some songs for me?’”
Albert added, “I hadn’t seen Louis in years!”
While fans were quick to assume that this meant a definite comeback for the group, Kian Egan took to social media to halt their assumptions.
‘Sorry, but again…NOT TRUE,” he said on Twitter.
While these guys aren’t going to be reforming any time soon, fellow Irish boyband, Boyzone will be reuniting soon, but for a very special reason.
We can’t have it all!
