Keith Duffy was reportedly attacked by six men while out celebrating with his family.
According to The Irish Mail on Sunday, The former Boyzone singer was out with his wife, Lisa and son, Jay at Lillie’s Bordello when the terrifying incident occurred.
The family were out celebrating after attending the premiere of Jay’s film Handsome Devil at the Audi Dublin Film Festival.
Sources claim that a group of men were harassing Lisa in the Vip area of the night club, and when Keith tried to put a stop to it, they turned on him and became aggressive.
“Six guys surrounded him in the club after Lisa came looking for him [after going to find security],” the source told The Irish Mail on Sunday.
“She was upset by the behaviour of these guys. He got a few digs – there were a few of them. There was six on one.
“They just set on Keith, there was no reason for it, it was unprovoked.”
Gardaí arrived a short time later, but Keith and Lisa had gone home by that stage.
Keith has not yet commented on the incident.
