Kayleigh Trappe announced her engagement with signature wit, enlisting the help of her pal Joanne McNally.
Now the Monaghan woman has shared the moment that her fiancé, Tom, got down on one knee.
In the video, the pair are enjoying a cozy night in by the fire while watching a football match.
We can see Tom setting up the camera before asking Alexa to play A Rainy Night in Soho by The Pogues. He then gets down on one knee and takes out the ring.

“Sorry, please tell me you’re not messing,” Kayleigh can be heard saying.
Tom then explains that the ring was Kayleigh’s mother before asking: “Will you make me the happiest fella?”
She once again asks: “Are you messing Tom?” before saying yes!
“Oh, I’m shaking like a leaf…” she laughs through tears as they embrace.
She captioned the video: “30.12.25. It’s funny what can happen during half time in the match. Blow it up Ref!”
She was met with sweet comments from her pals including Tadhg Fleming and Eric Roberts.

The funnywoman announced her engagement in true Kayleigh fashion earlier this week.
She shared a video of her lip-syncing to Joanne McNally announcing the big news.
“Come here to me. Did you hear the news? Kayleigh Trappe’s after getting engaged,” Joanne can be heard saying as Kayleigh mouths the words.

Kayleigh is known for her lip-syncs of Joanne and Vogue Williams’ podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me. So it only seemed right that she would rope Joanne in on the announcement.
Joanne went on to joke: “She’s getting married to some lad called Tom. Now she showed me the ring, I can tell you. I looked pretty hard to see it, tiny little thing. Yeah, she’s not getting into much there now financially. What he’s doing for a living it’s clearly a passion project.”
Kayleigh captioned the video: “Everyone and their mammy knows…thanks to @joannemcnally.”
