Katja Mia could never have expected to be where she is in 2024.
At just 27 years of age, she is a presenter on one of Ireland’s biggest TV shows and is taking part in one of the most watched shows in the country.
Speaking of joining Virgin Media back in October 2022, she tells VIP Magazine: ” I expected for myself to just learn the ropes of TV and find my feet and my confidence.”
At the start of the year, it was confirmed that she would be joining The Six O’Clock Show alongside Brian Dowling.
“I didn’t think I’d land a show like The Six O’Clock Show. It’s been amazing. Obviously the team at Virgin Media saw something in me, they saw my potential, they really nurtured that.
“They have made me into the presenter I am now. I never expected it! I have successfully changed the direction of my career but I never expected to be where I am now,” she enthuses.
Of course, she’s balancing her “crazy” schedule with Dancing with the Stars now.
“On top of that, I have Dancing with the Stars which is one of the most watched shows in Ireland. Sometimes I’m like ‘Is this real life?’ But I’m going to just enjoy it all!” she beams.
