Kathryn Thomas just learned the good news that she’ll be back to host another series of The Voice of Ireland when it returns to our screens this winter.
The star is delighted to be back on the show with co-presenter Eoghan McDermott, and hopes that Kian Egan, Una Foden, Rachel Stevens and Bressie will be returning as judges too.
Writing in her column for The Star today, Kathryn wrote, “I am delighted for the whole team. They work really hard on putting out the best family entertainment show possible.”
She went on to say, “I haven’t heard yet which of the coaches will deposit their rears in the spinning chairs, but I thought the dynamic this year between Bressie, Kian, Una and Rachel was brilliant.”
While she’s over the moon to be hosting The Voice, the presenter admits that there’s very little job security in TV so she’s thrilled when opportunities to return to a specific show comes about.
“Without doubt, the land of TV is a fickle business. I spent years never knowing where or when my next job would come from. I don’t let it bother me anymore. You can’t, it would drive you mental! Now I come away from every job asking myself if I did the best job possible,” she said.
Well Kathryn, you must be doing something right!
