Kathryn Thomas took to the stage for the first time on Monday night as co-host of Rose of Tralee.
Yes, it had been confirmed that RTÉ wanted to give the iconic competition a shakeup this year.
They enlisted the one and only Kathryn Thomas to host alongside Dáithí Ó Sé.
And viewers were delighted by her addition to the format.
Fans of the Rose of Tralee shared that she was a “great addition” to the show.

Got to say I didn't like it when I heard the idea floated but the 2 presenter thing has worked very well. Seems to be bringing the best out of Daithi and Kathryn has fitted in very easily. #roseoftralee

Kathryn Thomas is superb co-presenting #roseoftralee …. That said, it’s all fun and games until she introduces Karl Henry for an audience ad-break challenge and we’re all up doing star jumps for the full length of the Nine News….

Kathryn kept up the gas work alongside Dáithí for the first night of the Roses.
We can’t wait to see how they do for night two!
