Kathryn Thomas has hit back at critics, after a number of viewers took to Twitter to complain about her outfit choice on this weekend’s episode of The Voice of Ireland.
Viewers took to social media to complain about her styling on the night, saying she was showing “too much flesh” and that was “forgetting this is a family show.”
As well as this, users compared her to Harry Potter character Draco Malfoy and mocked her “Sharon Stone hair.”
Kathryn hit back at the trolls, admitting that she wouldn’t wear anything she didn’t like, and doesn’t think it’s fair that people criticise her co-workers who create the look.
Speaking to The Herald, she said, “I think when people have a go at you on Twitter, I just get more defensive for the people I work with.
“At the end of the day, I won’t go out in anything that I’m not comfortable in.
“I loved the dress, I loved loved the hair, I loved the make-up and if some people don’t like it, they don’t like it. You’re never going to please everybody all of the time, and if you did, it would be sort of boring.”
