Kathryn Thomas announced a huge career move this week, which she credits to her four-year-old daughter, Grace.
Yes, Kathryn has officially launched a brand new podcast, Are We There Yet, and the presenter couldn’t help but take to social media to reveal the real reason behind it.
“It was completely inspired by my four-year-old and a question that many parents will have heard from the back of the car, usually five minutes into any road trip,” she joked in a video posted to Instagram.
“But it felt like the perfect title because sometimes you’re cruising along and life goes brilliantly, and other times it comes along and gives you a royal kick in the arse and sends you completely in the other direction.

“And it’s not about whether tough stuff is going to happen or whether bumps in the road are going to present themselves, but it’s how we handle them when they do,” she added.
“So they were the type of conversations that I wanted to have, and I have spoken to some brilliant, amazing people who are really honest and open and vulnerable.”
Guests of the podcast include some pretty big names, with the likes of Alison Spittle, Trinny Woodall, Elizabeth Day and Cecelia Ahern all having been teased.
Of course, friends of Kathryn were all there to offer their support, with Miriam O’Callaghan commenting: “Congratulations @kathrynthomasofficial – how incredibly exciting.”
