Katherine Lynch has opened up about a tragic loss she experienced recently. The comedian got emotional after her performance on Dancing With The Stars a number of weeks ago, just after the death of her close friend Cormac occurred.
Leitrim native Katherine has now spoken about the difficult experience, saying that the loss of Cormac was more like losing a member of her family.
Speaking to RSVP Magazine she said, “His name was Cormac Rowley and he was a very dear friend of mine.
“He was somebody that I knew all of my life and he was more like a brother of our town. We are all like family down in Mohill so we all miss him a lot.”
Meanwhile, Katherine and her partner Kai Widdrington are going from strength to strength in the dancing competition, having received 21 points from the judges on Sunday night’s show.
