Karen Koster has been left in tears on Ireland AM this morning, as she received sweet birthday celebrations on air.
As Karen turns 40 this Friday, but won’t be in the studio to mark the occasion so her colleagues surprised her on-air this morning.
All set to present a style segment, she was surprised with co-host Tommy Bowe on the screen to surprise her with video messages from her friends and family.

The videos featured messages from loved ones, along with hilarious clips of Karen on-air throughout the years.
Wiping away happy tears as she thanked everyone, Karen said “I’m blown away. Thank you so much”, as she was also gifted with a pink birthday cake, stunning flowers and champagne.
