Karen Koster is returning to our screens on Xpose next Monday following her maternity leave, and there’s one particular thing the mum-of-two is looking forward to.
The TV3 star had her sons, Finn (20 months) and John James (6 months), quite closely in age, and as she’s been in a “baby bubble” for some time now, can’t wait to get back to the Xpose studios.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine today, Karen said, “I’m focusing on me being back and getting stuck back into the job I love. I’ve been a baby bubble, basically for two years, so I’m just excited to get stuck in.
“I’m looking forward to a hot cup of coffee and to sit down and have lunch. I haven’t done it in about two years as I’m constantly in motion. I’m looking forward to writing an email, finishing it and finishing a cup of coffee.”
Karen went on to say, “Stay at home mums, for what they do, it’s a really hard job. I have a whole new respect for people who can do it every single day. It’s nice to be back, put on a bit of make up and a nice dress and say hello.”
While she can’t wait to be back in the Ballymount studios, Karen is sure to miss her little ones, and has been relishing every moment with her boys – especially as they grow up so quickly.
The Dubliner “It’s similar age, there’s just over a year between them. It’s full on. People say it’ll be great when they’re older, but it’s great right now.
“I’m trying to enjoy every single day. I don’t want to wish away their babyhood just because I’m exhausted. I take it day by day and try relish every day.
“Finn’s great, and he loves his little brother. It’s the cutest thing. It’s been lovely.
