Actor and Dancing With The Stars contestant Johnny Ward has split from his girlfriend, Rachel Tracey.
The pair had been together for over five years, with Johnny recently confirming the news that they had chosen to go their separate ways.
The former Fair City actor lost his dad to cancer while competing on the show, and has now moved home to care for his mother after she suffered a heart attack.
With this, Johnny says he has no time to think about being in a relationship.
“I can’t think of anything worse than dating someone at the minute. I’ve just got too much going on.” Johnny told The Irish Daily Mirror.
Johnny and his former dance partner Emily Barker showed up to the PM VIP Style Awards on Friday night looking amazing, but the 31-year-old insists they are still just close friends despite both being newly single.
“But no no we aren’t (together). I suppose with everything that happened it is kind of like having a counselor and there all the time if you know what I mean.”
“It’s like asking “are you going out with your sister” that’s what it like. She became like the younger sister I never had.”
