Johnny Logan is heartbroken after the recent death of his older brother Michael Sherrard.
The Eurovision legend announced the sad news of Michael’s passing earlier this week in a heartbreaking social media post.
Michael lived in Manchester and had served as Johnny’s guitarist and musical director since the 1980s.
He was also a father of three and a grandfather of one.

In his post, Johnny shared how he passed away in the company of his “three beautiful children,” before adding that he was only with him the day before.
“Most of you have known Michael over the years and you will know how much we loved each other,” he continued.
“There’s a hole in our hearts now that will never heal. I wish I could say more but right now words fail me.”
Johnny also revealed that Michael had passed away exactly six years to the day after their younger brother Eamon died in 2017.

“I’ll see you again my lovely brothers, Michael and Eamonn, with our parents but not yet.
“I write this with a broken heart and tears in my eyes. Love always.”
