Joanne McNally has really made herself at home at Vicar Street with her nights upon nights of sold-out shows.
Her run won’t be forgotten anytime soon. She’s certainly made her mark on the venue…literally!
The comedian decided to iron her jumpsuit before heading out on stage. Unfortunately, things went astray as she ended up burning a hole in the shoulder of her jumpsuit.
“I may not have children but the shoulder of my jumpsuit will forever be seared onto the Iron of @vicar_st and that is my legacy,” she wrote alongside a picture of her with the destroyed iron!
“I’m off to the stage looking like I’ve survived a kill from an antelope.”
She was able to laugh it off, of course. And her pals certainly saw the funny side.
“Joanne McNally burnt a f**king massive hole into her jumpsuit, so I burnt a f**king massive hole into my jumpsuit,” Doireann Garrihy commented on the post.
“HAHAHAHA!! This is the modern equivalent of Edie Sedgwick setting fire to her room in the Chelsea Hotel,” Maia Dunphy added.
Joanne has only eight shows left out of her 60-night run in Vicar Street. But worry not as she’ll be back performing with her good pal Vogue Williams for live shows of their podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me.
