Dancing with the Stars kicked off on Sunday night.
Rhys McClenaghan and Laura Nolan topped the leaderboard with their incredible dance number, unfortunately Joanna Donnelly and her pro partner Maciej Zieba scored the lowest points with only a score of 15.
Now Joanna has opened up about her first turn on the dancefloor.
She admitted that she is a “physical and emotional wreck” after the first dance routine.

Taking to social media she shared snaps of her on the dancefloor as well as detailing how incredible the show is.
“I’m posting this one and only social media post then I’m turning my phone off for the day because it’s all just TOO MUCH. I’m a physical and emotional wreck,” she admitted.
“I clearly took on way too much trying to work through and didn’t get enough rest. I absolutely loved the experience and when the show kicked off the party atmosphere was electric. Every single person working on the show from Grace that did my tan, the whole team in hair, Mary in make up, Shauna Niamh and Cherie in costume, catering, Neil in transport, sets, lighting, choreographers, designers, producers, the runners are all absolute darlings that absolutely won’t let you get your own tea but insist on bringing it to you, everyone there and anyone I missed make the privilege of being on DWTSIRL a dream job.”
She went on to say: “And that’s not even to mention my fantastic partner, Maciej who, despite my completely messing up my steps, is a really perfect teacher. I’m going try hard to rest for the rest of today – it is Nollaig na mBán after all – the decorations are down and house is relatively tidy (how is that still the mammy’s job even on 6/1) and then start it all again tomorrow. Once I finish these chocs.”
Well we can’t wait to see her take on the dancefloor on Sunday!
Dancing with the Stars continues on RTÉ One on Sunday at 6:30pm
