Joanna Cooper and Conor Murray announced the arrival of their first child over the weekend.
Sharing a black and white picture of their little one, Joanna wrote: “Alfie Murray – 22/10/24.”
How sweet.
But just after they got their son home, disaster struck as their beloved pooch went missing.

On Monday evening, Conor wrote on his Instagram: “Anyone see this dog in Castletroy area in Limerick, please get in touch. His name is ‘Kevin.’”
Thankfully their dog wasn’t missing too long as they followed up early on Tuesday morning confirming he had been located safe and sound.
She shared pictures of their pup back home with their son, Alfie.
“He’s home, Thank you so so so so much to everyone who helped look/messaged about him, I can’t tell you how grateful we are. That was absolutely terrifying.”
She went on to say: “He found his way back home himself past everyone who was out looking for him – I’ve never been so relieved in my life to hear this wee cry at the door.”
Definitely not what you need after bringing home a newborn.
Joanna and Conor welcomed their son on the 22nd, sharing their good news on social media.
“Awhhhh congratulations guys,” Lauren Arthurs wrote.
“Awhhh huge congrats he is gorgeous! Enjoy the love bubble,” Louise Cooney said.
While Clementine MacNiece commented: “Awwww Joanna, a wee boy!! Huge congrats to you both.”
