Winter is officially here and we are ready to cancel all our plans to stay in.
Thankfully Patrick Kielty is here to keep us company on a Friday night.
And this week’s Late Late is packed with Irish talent!
Legendary actor and proud Irishman Gabriel Byrne will be in studio this week to reflect on his extraordinary career, life on and off screen and 30 years since the release of his iconic film The Usual Suspects.

Before heading west for the Dingle Literary Festival, Gabriel will share his deep love of literature and what continues to inspire his work.
Fresh from winning both the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division and the FAI Cup, Shamrock Rovers captain Pico Lopes will join Patrick to chat about a whirlwind few weeks on the pitch.
He’ll be showing off the double silverware and sharing what it meant to be part of a historic season for the club. And if that wasn’t enough, Pico will also talk about becoming a father in the midst of it all – swapping silverware for sleepless nights!
How exciting.

Comedian Russell Howard will bring his trademark humour to this week’s line-up. He’ll chat about his hit podcast Five Brilliant Things, why he’s mad about Ireland and how he finds comedy gold in the chaos of everyday life.
From the perils of modern dating to the hilarious things people say on holidays, he has plenty of laughs up his sleeve!

Irish actor Carrie Crowley will join Patrick to talk about her passion for the Irish language, the success of the Oscar-nominated An Cailín Ciúin, her recent role as Mammy Walsh in The Walsh Sisters and her return to television presenting after thirty years.

Presenter, Jennifer Zamparelli, will sit down with Patrick to talk about her new podcast Just Between Us, which explores relationships and sex.

Jennifer chats about why she is determined to have the conversations people in Ireland are not having and bring honesty and humour to the bedroom and beyond.
And The High Kings take to the Late Late stage for their rendition of Rocky Road to Dublin.
The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One at 9:35pm
