Could Jennifer Zamperelli be stepping into the hot seat in The Late Late Show?
There’s chat about who could possibly take over for Ryan Tubridy now that he has stepped back from presenting the iconic chat show.
There has been an eagerness for a woman to step into the role. Miriam O’Callaghan stepped in for Ryan when he was ill in recent years, but she quickly denied any rumours that she could take over full-time.
And now Jennifer Zamperelli is following in Miriam’s footsteps as she laughs off the notion that she could present the series.
“I don’t think…no I wouldn’t. I think there’s a lot of scrutiny. It’s never been…I am very happy where I am,” she explained.
“I love doing Dancing with the Stars, I’ve really gotten into a grove with it. I love doing my radio show. I feel like the most powerful person in radio because I don’t want for anything. I’m really content at the minute. That’s a really powerful position to be in.“
Her radio show is one of the top shows on the airwaves and everyone is head over heels for Dancing with the Stars. So is she able to relax in the knowledge that her job is secure?
“Never,“ she laughs.
“You can never be comfortable in this job. You can enjoy it. There’s all this talk that this season [of Dancing with the Stars] could be the last, so you really have to go out and enjoy it. You haven’t a clue. It’s coming, it’s going.“
