Jennifer Wrynne has shared that she will begin chemotherapy this week.
As she is beginning a “new chapter” she decided to give her hair a makeover, going for a very chic bob.
She went on to say that she is hoping to use a cold cap during chemotherapy to prevent hair loss.
“New chapter, new hair,” she wrote on Instagram as she showcased her new ‘do.

“I start chemotherapy this week so I decided to go for the chop, as I’m hoping to try cold capping.
“Cold capping is when you wear a freezing cap on your head during chemo. The cold slows down blood flow to the scalp, which can sometimes reduce hair loss. It doesn’t work for everyone, but I’m praying it helps with mine.”
She went on to say: “I don’t know a massive amount about cold capping but from what I’ve looked up, it’s important to treat your hair very gently before and after cold capping i.e. no heat, no tugging, no rough brushing, etc. While my hair was in fairly good condition, it always needed a strong tug to brush through after washing – That wouldn’t work with cold capping, so cutting it shorter gives me the best chance of success.
“Who knows how it will go, but I’ll keep you updated either way. When the kids saw me, they asked why I look like Granny Mary so if all else fails, that’s a big enough win for me.”
