Jennifer Wrynne’s life was turned on its head one year ago. Still in the newborn bubble and just days after the christening of her youngest child, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Now she is finishing up her cancer treatment, she is walking red carpets and she couldn’t be more grateful.
Speaking to us at this year’s Platinum VIP Style Awards, she tells us that she is “great”.
“I’m almost through my treatment. I should be out the other side completely by August. So, I’m feeling really well, thank God,” she says.
“I’m so excited to be here, so excited to be nominated. I think if you told me this time last year, when I had my baby, about to start into my breast cancer treatment, I don’t think I’d believe you that I’d be here. So I’m so grateful to be here.”
Not only was she nominated, she won Most Stylish Newcomer Sponsored by VERY, on the night!
Of course, other than going to treatment for her cancer treatment, she is also the mother to four, Alex, Isabella, Amber and Amelia Rose. So she loves getting the chance to get all dressed up for once.
“It’s so lovely. My normal Saturday nights are lying down on the couch, watching a movie. I’ve dreamt of coming to the VIP Style Awards, literally, for 20 years. I didn’t think I ever actually imagined that I would be here.”
She jokes that she loves “any excuse to dress up”.
“I love seeing all the other style, and all the other ladies. And that’s what the VIP Style Awards are about, just all the glamour and the fashion. It’s so lovely to be here.”
Of course, we are obsessed with Jennifer’s style but she cites Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham as her fashion inspirations.
“I love that very classic style dress, and ladylike kind of thing. That’s probably definitely my vibe. I love very classic styles, but with a nice feminine touch as well.”
