Jason Smyth received a standing ovation on Sunday night.
The Paralympian made a powerful statement with his dance routine on Dancing with the Stars.
He and his professional partner, Karen Byrne danced a Contemporary Ballroom for the third week.
During the emotional performance, viewers at home were given the opportunity to see the world through Jason’s eyes.
The screen was blurred as well as featuring a black spot in the middle to show the reality of his sight impairment.
Viewers at home were extremely moved by the performance.
Jason Smyth was an inspiration as a runner but that was something else. Well done #DWTSIRL
