The apple clearly didn’t fall too far from the tree in the Dornan household, as it’s been revealed that Jamie Dornan’s dad James has landed a role in BBC drama The Fall- the show that his son shot to fame in.
The retired obstetrician told Belfast Live that he met the shows creator, Alan Cubbitt, and he asked him if he would like to take part in the BBC drama series.
The Down native agreed, and bagged himself the role of John Porter, a policing board member, in this weeks episode.
“I met Alan socially and he asked me to take part in The Fall. Jamie had finished filming and had no idea I was going to be in it. It came as a real surprise when he found out,” he said.
