Jamie Dornan has professed his love for playing the role of serial killer Paul Spector in BBC drama, The Fall.
Viewers were left on a cliff hanger at the end of series two as to whether Paul was killed or not in his face off with Superintendent Stella Gibson, and although it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it appears that the killer will be making his return to the streets of Belfast.
Speaking at a press conference to promote the upcoming and final series of the programme, Jamie said that he loves playing the part of Paul Spector and would stay with The Fall for the rest of his life if he had the opportunity.
He said, “They’re like family to me and I’m forever grateful for it to be a part of my life and, you know, I would play that character to my dying days if I had the opportunity.”
The Northern Ireland native also revealed that audiences can expect a lot from the final series, and will certainly be kept on their toes.
He said, “You can expect the unexpected. There’s quite remarkable turns in the third season that I really genuinely think people won’t see coming that are hugely exciting.”
We can’t wait to see it!
