Al Porter could be set to front a new TV3 show, if and when Blind Date returns to our screens.
The comedian has been linked to dating show, and with insiders saying he’d be a wonderful fit for the programme.
A source told the Sun, “Al is perfect for hosting Blind Date.
“He can pull in viewers and go off script and be entertaining. Al’s a vaudeville performer.
“First Dates has been doing well on RTE2 so TV3 need their own dating show.”
Meanwhile, Graham Norton is apparently in talks to present the UK version of the show.
