Irish X-Factor hopeful Joseph McCaul has beaten up 2FM presenter Keith Walsh, however it was for a good cause.
The two were taking part in a charity boxing match, and Joseph certainly came out victorious.
Keith was left with a black eye after the fight, but being a good sport took to Twitter to congratulate Joseph on his win.
He said, “Fair play Joseph, boxed me back out of Athlone. I’m boll*xed, bloody nose, loose jaw and have a new found respect for boxers!”
Not only did Keith have a black eye but, but also a bruised ego as he returned to work this morning.
His co-presenters Bernard O’Shea and Jennifer Zamparelli weren’t about to give Keith the sympathy he wanted, and instead took every possible opportunity to tease him about his loss.
Keith had to endure their constant jibes live on air, but also was presented with a coffee cup labelled ‘loser’.
For some reason, we don’t think Keith will live this down anytime soon…
