Irish actors Saoirse Ronan and Andrew Scott have both been announced as nominees for this year’s Golden Globes.
The list of nominees for the 77th annual awards show was released today, and the talented pair will be representing Ireland on the big night!
Saoirse, who won Best Actress at the 2018 Golden Globes, has been nominated this year for Best Actress (Drama) for her role in new movie, Little Women.
The highly anticipated movie, also starring Emma Watson and Meryl Streep, will hit Irish cinemas on December 26th, and has already earned the Carlow woman the nod!
Andrew Scott has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a series, mini-series or television film for his role in Fleabag!
The awards ceremony will take place on January 5th 2020, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for the Irish contingent on the night!
