Excitingly Ireland’s own Aby Coulibaly will be one of the lads’ opening acts in Croker!
“Genuinely the most INSANE news i’ve ever gotten,” she wrote on social media.
“what an honour to support a band I grew up on not once but FOUR nights in a row ??? i’ve always said one day i’ll get to see them live and not only that but I’ll have the pleasure of supporting them. Thank you @coldplay.”
How incredible.
The R&B singer has been steadily rising since she smashed onto the scene in 2020 with her single Taurus. Since then she has released her first EP, At The End of the Day…It’s Night.
Across these releases and through her nostalgic meld of 90’s R&B beats, buttery vocals, Aby has amassed an impressive 6.7 million Spotify listeners. Taking inspiration from her Senegalese heritage and merging this with her day-to-day experiences of Dublin life, Aby creates a sound that’s effortlessly her own.
We can’t wait to see her smash it at Croke Park this summer!
