Shauna Lindsay has revealed that, despite being the “healthiest and fittest” she has ever been, she suffered a stroke.
The Irish influencer got teary-eyed as she updated her followers on her health woes.
She revealed that she suffered a stroke in the middle of a workout class.
The Limerick lady admitted that it was “a lot of s**t has been going on” that led up to the incident.
“I haven’t been sharing that, I’ve just been trying to keep my head down and focus on work and myself,” she shared in the emotional video.
“Everything’s come to a head because what happened was I had a stroke,” she explained, adding that “it’s literally been a series of unfortunate events”.
“Just before the summer I went through probably the most traumatic breakup I’ve ever went through. I’ve had bad breakups with good people, and that’s hard enough, but like this was different, it was bad news.
“It’s just been so much, and that’s an ongoing thing that’s still happening, so it’s super f***ing stressful.”

She added: “This was my biggest problem and trauma, and it’s very quickly become the least of my worries.”
She went on to say that her mother was recently diagnosed with cancer, sharing: “If you know me, you know my mum is my everything, my best friend. So finding that out has obviously been so f***ing tough.”
She then shared that after spending the weekend preparing to have her friends over for the week, she went to a boxing class on Monday morning.
“I threw the two punches and automatically, on impact, my whole arm went completely numb,” she shared, adding that she thought she had dislocated her arm.
“It literally felt like my arm was hanging off my body.”
She went to the bathroom where she shared that she felt like she had an out-of-body experience before her friend found her.
“I sat outside and got some air, but I just knew that I wasn’t okay,” she explained before confirming she went to hospital after being unable to speak.
However after her full recovery, she admits: “I genuinely feel so lucky that I’m okay.”

She was informed at the hospital that she has a hole in her heart, and she will have to undergo surgery in December.
She was met with supportive messages from her pals.

“Iโm so sorry to hear this .. you are young & strong, youโll get through it. Brighter days ahead… wishing your mum a full recovery too. 2026 will be better x,” Pippa O’Connor wrote.
While Aoife Walsh said: “You poor thing omg girl! Sending you so much love and thinking of you.”
