While everyone in The Traitors’ castle is trying to find out who the Traitors are and try to avoid murder, we at home are more interested in the fashion.
Just us?
Well, with The Traitors UK back on our screen we’ve fallen in love with Jade Scott’s style, specifically her chunky cardis.
And it’s not the first time these colourful knits have appeared in the Castle.

Olympic diver Tom Daley and Welsh singer Charlotte Church, who appeared in The Celebrity Traitors, were also spotted in these cardigans.
And we were delighted to see that they were from Irish designer – Hope Macaulay.
Hope became known for her iconic chunky knitwear like cardigans, jumpers and accessories.
She started her brand in 2020 on the North Coast of Northern Ireland after graduating from fashion school. Creativity has always been important to Hope after her granny taught her how to knit as a child.

According to her website: “Unable to find pieces to make from other’s knitting patterns, she developed her own method, just by using her hands. By mastering a unique knitting technique that uses no needles, Hope has trained her knitters to create her designs, her favourites made from sustainably sourced materials like luxury merino wool.”
Every piece is designed by Hope, with each piece being hand-knitted by a team of local artisans using luxurious merino wool and bespoke Irish alpaca yarn.
Hope Macaulay made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2024 and has superstar supporters (apart from The Traitors). She counts Gigi Hadid, Naomi Osaka, Jennifer Hudson, Black Pink’s Lisa and Rosalía as fans of her work.
And we’re big fans too! Take a look at some of the pieces below…
