Irish celebs are no stranger to a good outdoor concert, and it seems V Festival is no exception as a host of stars from the Emerald Isle turned up to watch the gigs and have the craic in a field.
Seven Irish acts were announced to play at the festival, including The Coronas, Hozier, Kodaline and The Script but when they weren’t rocking out on stage, the musician’s took some time to hang out and catch up with each other.
Danny O’Reilly and Hozier are great friends, and have been known to support each other at gigs in the past, and the pair met up again this weekend at V Festival.
The Coronas frontman noted that fame hasn’t gone to his pals head, and admitted that Hozier is still “Sound as a pound.” Well that’s what we like to hear!
Not one to ever miss out on a festival opportunity, the queen of the outdoor gigs, Laura Whitmore, was also in attendance.
The Bray beauty returned to MTV this weekend to host the festival for the music station.
Laura was also sure to check out her fellow Irish pals performing, as she posted a backstage pic of Hozier doing what he does best: wowing the masses!
She worked hard, but was sure to also enjoy herself, treating herself to a glass of vino: “Wine O’Clock!” she captioned one of her Instagram posts of the night.
The presenter also met up with Glen from The Script, and the two appeared to have been having great craic, as he posed for pics in a pair of her sunnies. If we wonder if this was before or after the wine…
