Irish actress Ruth Kearney is set for international success, after landing a coveted role on a new Netflix series.
The gorgeous Dublin native, who previously starred in Fox series The Following opposite Kevin Bacon, has been cast in new comedy show Flaked – which will make its debut this week.
Ruth, who is rumoured to be engaged to Hollywood actor Theo James, stars opposite Arrested Development and 30 Rock star Will Arnett in the series, and viewers can watch all eight episodes on the streaming site from tomorrow (Friday, March 11).
The series follows Chip (Arnett), a recovering addict in LA suburb Venice, where he is trying to rebuild his life as a furniture restorer. Ruth’s role sees her play a waitress called London who gets caught up in a love triangle with the protagonist.
The supporting cast includes Heather Graham, Annabelle Gish, Kirstie Alley and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
Netflix’s original content is really booming, with shows like House of Cards, Orange is The New Black and Making A Murderer being smash hits – here’s hoping this one joins the list!
