A huge congratulations is in order for The Witcher star Niamh McCormack who has landed her dream role in a new Disney film.
Niamh, who studied in Bow Street Academy, will star in a film adaption of The Magic Flute.
Speaking to The Mail On Sunday about the new role and the past year Niamh said it’s been, “absolutely nuts, from being in a full lockdown and not being able to leave 5km from our house, to flying out to film The Magic Flute in Munich and Salzburg.
“I’ve met so many beautiful souls and friends I will cherish forever and I couldn’t be more grateful, to be surrounded by supportive, creative powerhouses is forever inspiring.”
Niamh is currently staying with her boyfriend in New York, who she met on set of the upcoming fantasy series Willow, which will air on Disney Plus.
Speaking about navigating a long-distance relationship and her plans to move to the states she said, “Long distance is never easy and wouldn’t be for everyone, but you just have to be willing to work at it and have patience. I am definitely going to move to the States, there are so many opportunities here.”
We can’t wait to see what’s next for Niamh in the coming year, we’ve a feeling there’s a lot more to come from her.
